Sona Sensory at the Irish Made Awards 2026
Sona Sensory was delighted to attend the Irish Made Awards 2026 on 30th September, celebrating Irish businesses, makers and manufacturers from across the country.
We were especially proud to attend this year’s awards as a shortlisted finalist in the Kids category, recognising the work we do to create innovative, Irish-made sensory toys and fidget products.
Sona Sensory shortlisted for the Kids category
The Irish Made Awards 2026 brought together businesses from across Ireland to celebrate the creativity, craftsmanship and innovation behind Irish-made products.
For Sona Sensory, being shortlisted in the Kids category was a fantastic achievement and a reflection of the hard work that goes into designing and producing our sensory toys here in Ireland.
Sona Sensory creates a range of 3D-printed sensory and fidget toys designed to encourage sensory exploration, fine motor development, focus and hands-on learning. Our products are made using plant-based PLA and are designed and produced in Ireland.
Being recognised alongside other Irish businesses at the Irish Made Awards was a particularly special moment for our small team.
A celebration of Irish-made products
The Irish Made Awards provide an opportunity to shine a spotlight on businesses that design, manufacture and create products in Ireland.
At Sona Sensory, being Irish-made is an important part of what we do. Our sensory toys are produced using 3D printing technology, allowing us to create detailed, colourful and tactile products while manufacturing locally.
From articulated animals and dinosaurs to keyrings, fidget toys and sensory bundles, our products are designed with both children and adults in mind.
Our sensory toys can be used in a variety of environments, including homes, classrooms, therapy settings and workplaces. They can support activities involving sensory exploration, fine motor skills, concentration and learning.
Innovation meets sensory play
One of the things that makes Sona Sensory unique is the combination of 3D printing, design and sensory play.
3D printing allows us to develop products in a wide variety of shapes, sizes and designs. Articulated toys provide movement and tactile feedback, while smaller fidget products can be used as discreet sensory tools throughout the day.
Our products are designed to be engaging as well as functional, making sensory play more accessible and enjoyable.
We are continually developing new products and exploring ways that sensory toys can be used in education, therapy and everyday life.
Proud to be an Irish business
Being shortlisted for the Irish Made Awards 2026 is something we are incredibly proud of.
Sona Sensory began with a focus on creating innovative sensory products using 3D printing technology, and our journey has continued to grow through partnerships with retailers, schools, occupational therapists, organisations and customers across Ireland.
We have also had the opportunity to work with a range of Irish organisations and retailers, helping to bring our sensory products to more people.
From supplying sensory toys to educational and clinical settings to seeing our products stocked by Irish attractions and independent retailers, every step has helped us grow as an Irish-made brand.
Looking back on the Irish Made Awards 2026
Attending the Irish Made Awards on 30th September 2026 was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate not only Sona Sensory’s achievements, but also the many Irish businesses creating innovative products locally.
Although we were shortlisted as a finalist in the Kids category, the evening was about much more than the result. It was an opportunity to celebrate the work that goes into creating Irish-made products and to meet other businesses who share a passion for innovation, creativity and quality.
We are incredibly grateful to have been recognised by the Irish Made Awards and to have Sona Sensory included among the shortlisted businesses.
Thank you to the Irish Made Awards for recognising Sona Sensory and for celebrating Irish-made innovation!
We look forward to continuing to design, create and produce sensory toys in Ireland and to developing new products for children, families, educators and professionals.
